Monday July 28, 2008 Later in the Evening
Hot off the press! Just spoke to the hospital. Dr. Kelley is on vacation, but he called in and reviewed the chart and xrays (presumably on his phone). He increased Zander's feedings to 20 ml every three hours and decreased his TPN fluids that are being put in via IV through the central line. The nurse indicated that this was a good sign because the nourishment he is getting from mom's milk is doing him well. He does not need as many calories from the protein and lipid drips that he is receiving.
That is all for now. We may hear more from Dr. Kelley tomorrow.
Good news all around at this point. I will write tomorrow if not sooner.
Good night all.

Good morning, Zander,
I have been wanting to send you a note and tell you I've been thinking about you and praying for you everyday. I was talking to God about you this morning and thanking him for your continuous progress. I am always amazed when I think about God knowing you before you were made. I know he has great plans for you, and that you are going to set the world on fire. He has already worked miracle upon miracle in your young life. You are such a fighter. Your strength shows he is with you and is getting you ready for something wonderful. I am overwhelmed with emotions everytime I see your pictures and read about your progress and hard work. You are setting a great example to us all about taking life and its little problems so seriously. Thank you, Zander, you are a blessing to us all.
Prayerfully,
Tina Ware
Yeah for good news! Eat up Zander!
"I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety." Psalm 4:8
Goodnight little Zman! Rest well . . . you too Mommy and Daddy!
