Time for Sleep
It is about 9:30 p.m. on Thursday the 17th. Zander is doing well. They are still running tests on him to figure out the bugs. He is doing well and they anticipate taking him off the ventilator at some point before morning. Christie and I remain prayerful at this point for everything, but especially the removal of the ventilator so we can hold him. It has been difficult for us since we can't hold him, but we are thankful for him.
By the way, we have been moved into a new (and larger) room. We are now in room 5078. Still looking at Saturday to be discharged. Christie is up walking around (gingerly) but she is doing quite well. The boys will be coming back from Florida with their Dad tomorrow so we pray that they have a safe trip.
We write more soon....It is time for sleep.
Sweet dreams.
Clancy

What a blessing little Zander is, Clancy. I'm very proud of you for your faith and endurance. Keep strong for Christie and the kids. And trust God...He knows what He's doing. What an awesome way, through Zander's birth, complications, and recovery, to demonstrate to us how wonderful He is and and how much He loves us. What a care taker He is.
Blessings,
JIM & JEN STEED

Love you Bro,
Scott and Karen Santos and family
Clancy, tell Christie I remember those first couple of days after giving birth. I'll never forget the nurse coming in and asking me if I wanted to get up and take a shower. I looked right back at her and said, "No". She made me anyway. :) I'm glad all is well with you. Come see us soon,
Pamela McMahan

WE LOVE ALL OF YOU AND WILL NOT CEASE PRAYING. ZANDER IS A HANDSOME YOUNG MAN AS ARE ALL YOUR BOYS. I WILL BRING ZANDER SOME ALABAMA STUFF, BEFORE SOMEONE CHOOSES TO BE A BAD INFLUENCE ON A SMALL CHILD WITH TENNESSEE GARBAGE OR EVEN WORSE AUBURN JUNK!!!!!!!!
ROLL TIDE!!!
LOVE AND PRAYERS,
EDDIE,RHONDA,AND THE BOYS
Clancy,
Zander is a beautiful baby boy and I am praying expectantly for his complete and total healing by our Heavenly Father! May you and Christie be bathed in His peace and comfort through all this. Just know that God is still in control and we are crying out to Him on your behalf!
In His Love,

Covert Family,
I've been praying for you guys for a while now. Zander looks beautiful!!! I think I was expecting to see a tiny, frail baby and HE JUST LOOKS BEAUTIFUL... not tiny or frail. God definitely has him in HIS hand. I pray for strength, peace,Zanders health, and quiet, restful, peaceful sleep for your family as God takes you on this journey.
prayers for you,
Terri Richmond, SETN TD #19
