Good Evening all. We have been running around the soccer field tonight as Jackson has started soccer practice. Houston has been teaching him a few things about soccer and big brother is definitely a big help. I am not that familiar with sports that do not let you touch the ball with your hands.
As you can see above, we went to see Zander before practice. He vomited quite a large amount of his food while we were there and it was not a pleasant site to see. His whole bed had to be cleaned and Zander was not exactly the model patient during the cleaning. He also had a hard time breathing for a brief period of time during this.
At this point in time, Zander is doing well. The speech pathologist visited while we were there. They are going to run a test tomorrow to see how Zander swallows and once he swallows were the food goes. This test will be able to tell how he orally processes the food and how the esophagus pushes the food to the stomach. They will give him barium of different consistencies and then take pictures as the barium is swallowed, and then travels through the esophagus.
Hopefully this will be helpful to the process. We pray that he does well with the test so that the doctors can plan the proper course of action.

Wow! Great progress Zander... God is with you little man. We will continue to pray for you and your family. We are praying that the barium test goes well and that every little part of your body is healed and working perfectly.

It is so great to see Zander with a bottle in his mouth! He is such a cute little man....I can't wait to get my hands on him! I am always in the need of a "baby fix."

I told Sienna today that some of his tubes had been removed and that he was drinking from a bottle.
That he slept with a peaceful look on his face and she said YEAH! God is sooooo good! He has a lot more instore for you Zander. It's wonderful that Ethan is doing better too. Our God does such wonderful things. Still praying for all of you. Love, Cele and family
Zander, we are so proud of you!! I love your precious smile and bright eyes. We are still praying for you every single day and night. I manage to get through the school day by thinking about you. I love the picture with the boys and their mommy! I take Zander being cranky during bed change as a good sign! He feels up to letting everyone know what he thinks. I'm proud of his progess and his gumption.
Good luck to the boys with their soccer. Personally, I'm afraid of any sport that utilizes the head to strike or impede the progress of the ball.
