Wednesday, September 24, 2008 in the Evening

Hello everyone. We hope that the week is going well for each of you. All is going well here on Boulder Place. I hope to have more pics tomorrow night....sorry. Zander had his first visit with Dr. Hatch, his pediatrician, yesterday. Zander has an infection in his left ear and he is on antibiotics. Tomorrow he is schedule to see Dr. Kelley (surgeon) for another dilation of his esophagus. He will be put under general anesthesia and the procedure will take about 20 minutes. We pray that all goes well. It has been hectic since he has been home. We are still trying to work things out with the insurance coverage. Christie and the boys are doing well. We have a tremendous amount of support coming from the teachers, students and staff at school. We are truly grateful, not only for them but for each of you. We will let you know how tomorrow goes. Until then, we pray for safety for everyone and if there are specific requests, please let us know. Please keep the Powell family in your prayers. They are close friends of ours and Mr. Powell is undergoing radiation and chemo therapy for cancer. We know that God has him in his hands and we will continue to pray for complete healing and strength for him and his family. Old Buddy, keep moving along. Thanks to all for the prayers, comments and encouraging words. Until next time, Sweet dreams boys. We love you. Clancy

You are all in my prayers, and I will be thinking about Zander, praying that his procedure will be simple with a minimum of discomfort for him. I'm praying that the insurance people you deal with will be wise and pleasant and helpful as you navigate that area. I'll also pray for Mr. Powell as he goes through his treatments.

God Bless,

Janet Tilley

I'm sensing a little weariness in your words my dear nephew....hang in there. We all continue to lift you and your family up in prayer each and every day. If there's anything that we can do (although we are far away), just let us know. Take care.
Much love,
Aunt Heidi and family

Glad to hear that Zander has made it home and is doing well. What a big but wonderful adjustment for your family. Zander looks like he is adjusting well to his new surroundings. Congratulations on bringing your sweet baby home. We are still praying for you all. I know that you will be running around triple time for the next few months but, remember where your strength comes from. God will sustain you even still. Congratulations again!
Love and Prayers Always,
Chad, Amy, Jeremiah, Emma, and Maggie Seals

Wow! I didn't know that you all lived on Boulder Place! My name is Virginia, and my husband James and I are fellow Pescadores. We have been following and praying for Zander and the family weekly. However, I, Virginia, lived at 508 Boulder Place for the first two years of my life. My dad built the second floor of the home. What a small world!

So glad to hear of Zander's progress everyday. Many blessings to you, and to God be the Glory!
